SAURABH PANT

SAURABH PANT

 Crushed in streets

Offered the supplies on terms,
Passes set in same names,
Those who can't register on such settlement,
They are with politeness crushed in streets.

Provided the grains in bags,
Requested not to share them with others,
Those who are bonded to help their loved ones,
They are rudely crushed in streets.

This scene in labour class around,
With country such huge surely to expect sadness,
Hopes are surely crushed in streets,
Survival seems only remained for the fittest.

Such cries from their families,
With communities many surely to expect injustice,
Their every spark is crushed in streets,
Striving the paths alone is their only chance left...

Hungry Days

We weren't set a deadline,
No more money left in pockets,
As our walks back home begin,
We recount those hungry days.

We weren't informed of lock downs,
Hardly can we feed our children,
As our mess start to tumble in cities,
These moments feel again regale those hungry days.

It call on when we started our lives,
Bare feet, alone and nothing to choose,
Hungry days should have nothing to do with such Capital powers,
We seem to be in the worst situations ever met.

It force us to quit, die or do suicide,
Hunch back, sad and no one to support,
Hungry days won't fear these rich owning distributers,
Our lonely battle with ourselves continues to decide our ends...

Grief Subsides

Rolling on the broken stones,
Stairs leading only towards death,
They say distance each other in society,
It would lead to end as grief subsides.

Hovering towards the buses away,
Paths leading only on the roads filled,
They ask to stay while documents are checked,
Yet, hard to say whether it will make grief subside.

Knocking on the homes back,
Rejected to help on the entry,
Grief subsides on every helpless face,
As these men try to force in their survival.

Hungry, starved and left alone,
Denied the only way they could bud in,
Grief subsides without knowing more would die,
Striving for possibilities won't make any difference...
