MARINA
MIJAKOVSKA
Femininity
I talk to
my fluids.
Where
should I hide?
I am a
coffin of yearnings!?
I am
Otherness!
No more
No less
I!
I laugh
with the silence.
The
rhapsody of impulsions.
I grip
the pen between my teeth!
I break
bones of bans!
The Demon Of Homelessness
I fight
with the demon in me
decapitated-
devoiced- devalued.
I
annihilate time and space!
Which is
my home?
I'm
rootless plant!
I'm
homeless house!
I'm a
homeless,
faceless
and nameless
weed!
Old Suitcase
I'm
dressed up
in skin
of an
Elder.
Dry,
senile and gray.
I burn
the years,
I swallow
the mountains,
I'm
losing the verbs
in Past
Perfect Tense.
I'm
dressed up
in a soul
of an
Elder.
Centennial,
passionable and blue.
I'm
laughing with the light,
I'm
undressing myself within cobwebs,
I lay
down and listening to:
The
stains and the children,
The
grandchildren and the centuries,
The
memories and the millennia...
