LILLA LATUS
Survival by heart
with scratches
scuff marks
leaking
dripping
not broken
just too soft
to survive
to be
stronger
knowing everything
by heart
my heart
Suicide
I do not want to die
I just want to put darkness
over my head
and turn off bad worlds
strangle my own shadow
maybe just sorry
about blueberries
once picked with you
in forest
coffee made
for two cups
and two keys
for one door
do not blame me for
what will not be able
to go away with me
for the blueberries
for the coffee
and do not throw away
what still opens
anything
do not think
I want to die
I just cannot
live any longer
Hope
tiny and fragile
like a soldier’s
dog tag
or an old
black and white
photograph
enduring and hard
like your family house
walls
never ready to die
surviving on demand
