The Race Of Life
It's the dawn of a new day,
One
day rolls swiftly to another
Darkness
gives way to light.
Another
day is born,
The race
of life has just begun
The
hustle and bustle, the traffic jam,
The
bright rays of the sun scorching and biting
Stinging
and hitting right on the bare skin
The heat,
the sweat, the Labour and pains
The
demands of life waiting to be met
It is the
survival of the fittest or rather
The
survival of the strongest
Probably
the survival of the richest
It is a
race, the race of life
Cats
eating rats and dogs on the cat's
Men
getting trapped in their own vendetta
It is
push, paddle or be pushed
Run or
your'e run over,
Eat or be
eaten
Such is
the race of life
An
endless race of struggles,
Fights
and schemes of all sorts
Where
only the connected get connected
And only
the scemers gets into the schemes of things.
Just
where does the race ends?
Wher does
the rush stop?
Could it
be at the white house?
Or down
the six feet where all ends?
Just
where will the race end?
Thorns And Talents
Many were
talented,
But few
prospered.
Many were
invited,
Only few
were celebrated.
They
write with infectious commitment
Yet they
were not recognized.
Men of
great words,
Yet
remains unlettered.
Great song
writers
Yet
remain unsung.
They
write great stories
Their
sattires were not deciphered.
They
write in parables,
Yet their
meanings were not comprehended.
They were
great analyst
Yet their
proverbs were not understood.
They
produce good riddles
But their
allegories could not be interpreted.
So they
could not deliver their message
That's
the irony of life for you.
Life Battles
Sometimes
life feels empty
Situation
may not be pleasant
Circumstances
looks vague
Condition could be unstable
Every
attempt seems hopeless
And one
becomes helpless
From
persistent loneliness
Despite
being in the midst of masses
Certificate
may not matter
As degree
may not hold water
And
career becomes irrelevant
Life
battles does not respect qualifications
One could
be knocked down
And the
morale slipped down
There
might be no need to sit down
It's not
a permanent knock down
The test
of life
Terminates
on this earth
There's
no resist in heaven
Heaven's
the place of rest
